The way the colours interact in this portrait is kind of putrid, but aparantly my teacher liked my ability to take risks with colour, so cheers!

This has been my favourite art assignment so far. I had SO much fun painting i can't even describe! We were supposed to experiment with paint and colour (we were ONLY allowed to use primary blue, red, yellow and white- NO BLACK and only mixing of the primaries to create other interesting colours) It was challenging but also liberating. No prep-work or sketching was involved. Its just between you and how you interact with putting paint straight onto the canvas. I made 9 portraits total.
